While I have yet to formulate a new training regimen as I squeeze the last dregs out of 2020, I put in an hour of cardio followed by a brief striking session that was nowhere near my standards of an hour-long circuit.
But, there's time to get everything setup before January 1st's 3:45 AM kickoff. That said, this New Year's Eve, I think I'm going to celebrate for the European continent when 5 PM hits for the Central Time Zone. I gotta get up early to kickoff the build!
In 2021, I will be researching, experimenting, and constructing The Greatest Me. It won't be just another forgotten year—alas how many of those I've have! While there will be new elements, I'm plugging retro cards into the motherboard's ISA slots.
As I write this, I listen to the Smashing Pumpkins' Mayonnaise. Its live performance is one of my all-time favorite YouTube videos:

2021 is ever so close...can you feel it?
This morning, I trained in my garage for it. From past workouts, I suppose I got in there kind of late at 5AM, but it was GOOD to finally return to that space, 100% and ready to rock! I put in an hour of cardio on the treadmill with walking and a little bit of running followed by some bagwork and bodyweight circuits. While it was easy to do with my lighter frame, I want to be sensitive to my left foot—it feels fine, but I know it was been a trouble spot in the past and I didn't want a 0-60 ramp up to blow a gasket!
Of course, I say, "lighter frame," but it's NOWHERE near where I want to be. But, the experience felt lighter than the last time I trained in November, back when I had The Beard. Oh, don't worry, The Beard will be back. I just wanted a restart with the upcoming year so that I have have a starting line.
Oh yeah—my new place online! OK, so it looks a LOT like the old place, but it's a whole different platform than GitHub. I just keep dragging this theme along with me and adapting it as I go. This time around, I really wanted something that was easier to read, yet not too far off from what I've been doing. I have no idea what my users experience, but I know for me, my astigmatism plays mind games on me. Yet, my world remains unframed!

So IGNORE what I wrote in my last post: I'm BACK on WordPress and have cut out past before 2020's move into keto toward carnivore.
There's really not a strong reason for that dividing line; it's just that I'm not missing any content since that restart in June since not having anything from 2019 leaves a weird hole in The Expeditions. As far as everything before then, 2002 – 2004 and my poetry from 1997 to 2011, well, I just felt too vulnerable and/or things were difficult to read with 20/20 hindsight. As this is my fun isle retreat, there's no need for it.
And while I'm leaving the free harbor of GitHub, as I shared yesterday, my hosting is cheap since like most of the web, this is my island, one that is far away from the major shipping routes of the great wide web.
As I write, I don't expect anyone to immediately read this as I've got my harbor closed—I'm adding a few design tweaks to this site design AND I'm copying/pasting content from the past couple of months from text file to WordPress.
It's a good time to optimize a few things as 2021 is coming upon us.
